Nov. 26, 2:21 p.m. Physical Education department admonished for teaching badminton during freshmen P.E. School board has made it clear it will accept nothing short of goodminton at Carmel High.
Nov. 27 , 2:30 p.m. Student disciplined for failure to cooperate in AVID class. Assistant principal had to explain to her that you can’t always AVID your way.
Nov. 28, 8:42 a.m. Diamond found on campus and turned in to the office. Administrators fear it could be part of a ring.
Nov. 28, 10:07 a.m. Student suspended for playing guitar on campus. He vowed he would “pull a few strings and be back before you know it.”
Nov. 29, 2:55 p.m. Basketball player distraught over losing his girlfriend. Counselor cautioned him about making decisions on the rebound.
Dec. 3, 12:38 p.m. Campus supervisors dispersed a group of seniors gathered around the front of a car in the lot at lunch. Advised that nothing good ever comes from “hangin’ ‘round the hood.”
Dec. 5, 9:27 a.m. Student observed stomping on a box of Froot Loops in front of the library. At press time she was being questioned as a possible cereal killer.
Dec. 6, 3:59 p.m. Theft reported in the dugout during a recent baseball practice. Suspect claimed the coach gave him the steal sign.
